What’s become of them…
We both studied at the Faculté Jean Calvin in Aix and got married six months after I had finished my Bachelor’s. We began married life in the Paris region, where Timothée was doing an internship in a church. In September 2011 we came to work in Marseille, Timothée as a full-time pastor in a church-plant with the Reformed Evangelical Protestant Churches. Working alongside a missionary couple, who have been there for a long time, he is learning to lead this little community which is growing, slowly but steadily, His main gift is teaching, so he preaches, leads Bible studies and works individually with people. His vocation has been confirmed by a number of encouragements. I was at first involved in evangelism but during our first year in Marseille I became more involved in councelling. I plan to develop this aspect of church life, though further study on this subject will have to wait for a little while as we have two little boys, Manoah, born in 2012 and Elliot, born in 2014. I am looking after them full time, so have less time to be fully invovlved in the church at the moment. When they are a little older I will have more time to work alongside Tim and fully put into pracice what we learned at the Faculté.
