In September I started my third year of a degree in theology at the Faculté Jean Calvin in Aix-en-Provence. When I arrived two years ago, I planned to study theology for just one year. But the first year was so rich in discovery and learning that I decided to stay for the three-year degree. The two extra years of study would not have been possible without the financial support provided by our partners, including American partners, to whom I am very thankful. That has enabled me to pursue my studies in theology, so that I can continue to serve God and His Church by being well trained. I really appreciate the quality of the teaching, and the fact that the teachers and staff take great care of us. Living in the student accommodation is a real blessing. It is a privilege to live among so many people who help in so many ways. I am finding out so much about God, about others and about myself. Every day I pray that I may be attentive to what the Lord wants to teach me: may He be a subject of rejoicing because He does great things. “Rejoice in the Lord always. I say again, rejoice.” (Philippians 4:4)
