I began my studies at Aix just 30 years ago! It proved to be a very rich experience and above all a good foundation for my future ministry. Just after finishing my Master’s I married Liesbeth van der Schoot, a Dutch woman, and we have four children. I have been a pastor of the Baptist Federation since 1991, first in the Paris region then in Bordeaux. The Lord led me to do further studies in Pastoral Counseling in the USA, then New Testament studies in Paris. As well as teaching a course on Corinthians at the Biblical Institute of Nogent-sur-Marne since 2003, I have recently been asked to be president of Formapré, a further education program for adults in churches in various towns throughout France. I am also the General Secretary of the Groupes Bibliques Universitaires, so my time is shared between pastoral ministry in Bordeaux and my new fucntions in the GBU. I feel such joy and gratitude to serve the Lord in all these areas.
